“The Shaman”

Description
A shaman (Mongolian endonym is ‘Böö’) or shamanism is Nomadic Mongolians’ belief and folk religion at least since the age of recorded history. This art piece was inspired by shaman’s clothes and attributes, especially characteristics of shamans of Tuvans, Kalmyks, Yakuts and people of Western Mongolia who are now part of different countries.

“Zev the Hero”

Description
Zev is one of the most respected general during 13th century Mongolian empire and Chinggis Khan’s most trusted, very skillful and intelligent warrior. In 1211, he led the important left wing of the army in the war against the Golden State. It was intended to show the wise look, hero character and strong physique of the Zev through this doll.

Description
Human’s wrongful activities have led to environmental degradation in many was such as scarcity of resources, air, water and soil depletion, destruction of ecosystems; habitat destruction; the extinction of wildlife; and pollution. In 2320, the character entitled G12 (cyborg) and his team visited the earth and saved remaining normal children like Kelly by shipping them to another livable planet.

Description
Erebus the King of Darkness wanders through the pasture of ocean with his pirates searching for treasures hidden on the island. At the same time, the King and Queen of the elf island sent their only son Madbad, who was blessed with eternal and powerful magics, to defeat Erebus and stop him from stealing

Application Standards

Excellence of Artistry
  • Every applicant should hold the highest personal standards for his or her work.
  • The work must be well-designed, made, and finished.
  • The work must show excellent control of the medium.
  • Sculpting should be flawless, with accurate proportions or, if exaggerated, should harmoniously fit the concept of the piece.
  • Hair should be of a material appropriate to the piece and flawlessly applied.
  • Costuming should be created out of a good idea or concept and be expertly made, using materials appropriate to the figure’s scale or its intended effect.
Identity of Design
  • Every applicant should have a style of working that is unique, consistent, and recognizable. Having a true signature style is an essential element of NIADA’s standards.
  • NIADA looks for engaging, captivating work that inspires a meaningful response.
