TRAVELING BY CAR:
Traffic lights in Sevierville, Pigeon
Forge and Gatlinburg are numbered, each city having its
own numbers. Arrowmont is located between traffic lights
#3 & #5 in Gatlinburg
(there is no traffic light #4). The entrance has a brown
wooden sign with white lettering and is located on the
left past the Hard Rock Café if driving from the
North and will be on the right past Arrowcraft Shop if
traveling from the National Park from the South. If traveling
through Sevierville and Pigeon Forge, expect long traffic
delays during peak travel season. Alternate routes are
available at the Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce website.

TRAVELING BY AIR:
McGhee-Tyson Airport in Knoxville, TN
is the closest airport for attendees to arrive at. Transportation
between the airport and Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts
(45 miles) will be provided by Rocky Top Tours. Rocky Top
will group passengers together based on their arrival and
departure times. The cost will be $40 one way (or it could
be LESS, if many of our group use the service and fill
vans). Call Rocky Top for details. Reservations must be
made:
1. Contact Rocky Top Tours at 1-877-315-8687 and make
reservations in advance for shuttle service. (at least
one week ahead so passengers can be grouped together.)
2. Passengers will need to supply their name, arrival
date, airline name, flight number, arrival and departure
times and a phone number.
3. Passengers should ask for Linda Hall when making reservations
and advise her that they are with the NIADA Conference.
4. Passengers may pay the driver with cash, Visa or MasterCard
at the time of service.

companies available locally.

Arrowmont School is a national leader
in contemporary arts and crafts education set in beautiful
wooded, hilly natural surroundings. The spacious and well-equipped
studios, art supply store, auditorium, gallery and library
will be perfect for our classes, programs and activities.
Campus housing has air-conditioned rooms, private or adjoining
shared baths, a sitting area with television, and large
comfortable screened in porches for casual gatherings.
Each day we will eat all meals together in the campus dining
room. They are served buffet style, with a large selection
including vegetarian choices. The atmosphere is sure to

will capture your heart and imagination. This tourist destination
is nestled in the middle of the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains
National Park. There is much to see and do while visiting
Gatlinburg. The Arts & Crafts Trolley will take you
to visit 120 artists and craftspeople with studios and
shops in a convenient 8 mile loop. The Ripley's Aquarium
of the Smokies is located just across the street from Arrowmont.
Take a ride on the Aerial Tramway for a beautiful view
of the Smokies and Gatlinburg. All of this and many more
